Religion

In Religion this half term, we look at what it means to be chosen or 'called' to do a job. As we enter the month of November, we celebrate All Saint's Day with a whole school Mass. We think about those people we know, or who are from our community who have died. Then we will start preparing for Christmas during Advent.

Topic

Our topic this half term is 'Licenced to Thrill.' We will be looking at the work of Ian Fleming who is the very famous author who has written the series of books on James Bond and also 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.' We will be designing and making our own spy gadgets, and solving a mystery right here at Alice Ingham. Watch this space!

Science

In Science we will be learning about Animals including Humans. We will learn how forensics use the parts of the human body to help them when solving a crime. We will be learning all about teeth too and how to keep our mouths healthy.
