Our GIFT Chaplaincy Team is made up of 8 year 5 and 6 children. Our role is to help realise the school’s Mission Statement:
“Journeying to Excellence through Faith and Learning”
The Alice Ingham GIFT Chaplaincy Team is a collaborative ministry which brings together a partnership of people who, through faith, have different gifts and skills to offer.
We work together in school to support the staff children in a variety of ways. We are currently working alongside Ms Malcolm to take an active role in our Prayer Assemblies on a Monday morning.
We also work alongside Mrs Twist, our adult GIFT Chaplaincy team leader, to write prayers for the praise assembly on a Friday.
We are also available to support and develop the prayer life of the school and will support at masses and prayer and worship where appropriate. As well as this we are developing links with other GIFT Chaplaincy Teams in Rochdale and the Diocese and have recently welcomed St Patrick’s GIFT Chaplaincy Team to join us for our Alice Ingham Birthday Celebrations.
